July 7 (Renewables Now) – Qair Brasil, a subsidiary of French independent power producer (IPP) Qair, has built foundations for 29 turbines that will form part of its 223-MW Serra do Mato wind and solar power hybrid complex in the Brazilian state of Ceara.
The company finished pouring concrete, and will now proceed to turbine assembly and testing, according to a note on its Linkedin account.
The wind farm portion of Serra do Mato will have 121.8 MW of installed capacity.
In the next phase, Qair Brasil expects to add 101 MW of solar power to the future complex, the company said.
